Ask these important questions before you pay any deposits for website design.
The first 2 questions are VERY IMPORTANT, especially if you are developing a new website from scratch.
- Who owns my domain name? (Tip: It should be you)
- The domain name MUST be in your name if you want to control the renewal.
- When will my hosting renew (and what company is providing hosting)?
- What will the annual costs be to maintain my website?
- Can you show me how to make minor edits on my website?
- Will I have control of my website when you are done with design? Where will my passwords be stored?
- Are you doing the work yourself? Can you show me other website you recently completed?
- Will I own the artwork on my website? Can you provide .jpg files for graphics I might want to use on social media?
